Harvey Shoemaker has built a successful career working as a leading national sales and marketing consultant in the hardware and building supply industry. He is the founder of Bond Sales and Service Associates which provides short and long term marketing strategies to the suppliers of national retailers such as Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, Home Hardware, Costco, Sears and Home Depot, as well as several wholesale distribution firms.

For more than 40 years Harvey , his business partner and wife, Heather, along with their son Laun VP of sales have guided clients to sustained growth by providing strategies that take business processes from procurement of orders through to manufacturing and delivery. The company has developed customized public relations, marketing and training campaigns that offer clients and their customers exclusive market advantages. They have also complemented sales and marketing strategies with the design of new products to expand their customers' market share. As a result, Bond Sales and Service Associates has an industry-wide reputation for quality, innovation, value of service and delivery of gold-standard programs and services. Mr. Shoemaker has been an active member of the Canadian Hardware and Houseware Manufacturers Association.

Based in Milton, Ontario, Harvey is a longtime supporter of community organizations and has served in executive positions at St. Paul's United Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, the Arts Council of Milton, Milton Concert Presentation, and the Country Heritage Museum Foundation. He advocated tirelessly, and ultimately successfully, with local government for the development of Milton's new $39 million, 500-seat Centre for the Arts. Over the past few years Harvey has been working with several national church denominations to create revenue-generating solutions to either enhance or rebuild their existing facilities.

Harvey is also the founder of EDEN Link, a non-profit organization that uses Harvey's accumulated business and community contacts to network for giving opportunities. Through EDEN Link, Harvey connects suppliers, builders, innovators and investors in local and world-wide housing projects. Recently, Harvey and Heather and a team of volunteers brought medical supplies and sports equipment to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic and participated in a two-week long volunteer mission, helping to minister to seven surrounding villages for health and welfare support.

Harvey finds a deep happiness spending time with his family: Heather, his two sons and daughter, their spouses and his five grandchildren. Harvey and Heather travel extensively with their family, learning about the history and culture of each country visited. Harvey is an avid sculptor, reader and gardener.
